We had the pleasure of having Martin for our wedding in Sonoma County. After weeks of searching for a professional videographer and after I was disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and integrity of another individual, finding Martin was a rescue to our upcoming ceremony. I was looking for a videographer whose style was fresh and modern, yet maintained the classical nature of a wedding. We didn't like the "cheesy" old styles out there, nor did we want to end up with a pretentious Hollywood type movie that didn't feel like our very selves. Martin had an artistic documentary approach that was exactly what we wanted. Martin was professional and very responsive; a thing I valued most in selecting a wedding vendor. He was friendly, asked about our traditions and answered all our questions. Altogether, he made me 'feel good' about wanting to select him. He respected our price point and was flexible in adjusting his time to meet our needs. He is punctual and realizes the unexpected schedule changes on the day-of, which happen in most weddings. He managed to work smoothly with our families in our absence, by capturing the ambiance, the decor, and the behind-the-scenes, all what we had missed while being at a different location taking pictures before the ceremony. Throughout the day, he worked perfectly alongside our photographer, causing no interruption in the natural course of events. Martin was prompt in delivering the final products: the 'short edit' (highlights) and the 'documentary edit' (full coverage) including chapters. Though we had the impression that the full coverage could have been edited slightly more meticulously, perhaps by mixing some scenes to eliminate particular silent moments, the short film truly captured the highlights perfectly. It was edited artistically, included the design elements on which we had spent months of planning, and most importantly, captured the priceless facial expressions and emotions, things that are never repeated.
